Navajo artist Berlinda Begay has done it again. Berlinda has used Green Turquoise beads in this piece and alternated it with red-orange coral beads. You will notice that the beads (called drum beads) start out at 10mm at the ends of the necklace and gradually work their way up to 18 mm at the center. The apple coral beads in this piece are genuine and are inspired by the Argillite found at Chaco Canyon which is located in northwestern New Mexico, between Albuquerque and Farmington and is renowned as a place where Chacoans quarried sandstone blocks.

Each end of this turquoise necklace is finished with a Sterling Silver cone with a toggle clasp.
This necklace is 20" long.
